The University of Jordan Cystic Fibrosis Research Group (UJ-CF Research Group) had the honor of visiting the School of Medicine – University of Jordan, where the group met with the Dean, Professor Ayman Wahbehl, the Vice Deans, and members of the Executive Board of the School of Medicine.

The meeting focused on strengthening academic and research collaboration in cystic fibrosis, enhancing multidisciplinary education, and advancing clinical and research initiatives that support improved care for children with CF in Jordan. Discussions also highlighted opportunities for student engagement, faculty collaboration, and future joint projects aligned with international best practices.

As part of the visit, members of the UJ-CF Research Group delivered a dedicated lecture to medical students, pediatric residents, and School of Medicine staff on new frontiers in cystic fibrosis treatment, covering recent advances in precision medicine, CFTR modulators, and evolving models of comprehensive CF care.

This visit reflects the School of Medicine's strong commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and global engagement, and represents another important step toward improving outcomes and quality of life for children living with cystic fibrosis in Jordan through education, research, and collaboration.​
