​The UJ-CF Research Group has been actively involved in a cystic fibrosis (CF) care quality improvement initiative that was originally launched in the United States and has since expanded to involve multiple countries worldwide. This initiative is led by Dr. Ahmet Uluer at Harvard University and Boston Children's Hospital and brings together experts dedicated to enhancing CF care. Over the past three years, the UJ-CF Research group has participated in several Zoom meetings, which continue to take place regularly. Other collaborators in this initiative include physicians from the University of Utah (USA), the United Arab Emirates, the Jordanian Ministry of Health, and govermental universities in Jordan. The initiative fosters a multidisciplinary approach to improving CF care by involving physicians, dietitians, CF educators, and healthcare facilitators, ensuring a comprehensive strategy to enhance the quality of life and treatment outcomes for CF patients.
