A Review on the Impact of Sustainable Agriculture Practices on Crop Yields and Soil Health

Sustainable agriculture practices, such as crop rotation, cover cropping, conservation tillage, and organic

farming, can improve soil health and enhance crop yields. These practices can promote soil organic matter,
nutrient cycling, and soil biodiversity, contributing to higher agroecosystem resilience. While there may be
trade-offs between short-term productivity gains and long-term environmental and social benefits, integrating
various sustainable agriculture practices can help achieve a balance between these objectives. Leveraging the
synergies between these practices can contribute to a sustainable and resilient global food system, addressing
the challenges of feeding a growing population while preserving natural resources and minimizing
environmental impacts.
