​Dr. Amal Abu Anza was elected as the new president of the administrative board for the Jordanian Academics Association for women's on September 28, 2024. Along with her, six other colleagues were elected as members of the new administrative board. These include Dr. Maysa Al-Rawashdeh, Dr. Nada Al-Rawabdeh, Dr. Iman Maqadi, Dr. Khawla Al-Qadumi, Dr. Asma Al-Sharab, and Dr. Samar Abu Saleh.

This election is a significant step towards enhancing the role of Jordanian academics and developing the association.
