​RA. Ayat Atiyeh Joins the Global Coalition for Limitation of Armaments as a Young Researcher

We are pleased to announce that Research Assistant Ayat Mohand Atiyeh, a member of the Justice Beyond Borders: International Crimes and Accountability research group, has officially joined the Global Coalition for Limitation of Armaments (GCLA) as of January 2023. Her membership follows the signing of the GCLA petition, affirming her commitment to the Coalition’s mission and values.

The GCLA is a coalition of Arab and international organizations united in their efforts to promote disarmament, non-proliferation, and the protection of civilians in conflict zones. It advocates for ending armed conflicts and reducing the proliferation of weapons that pose a threat to global peace and security.

By joining the GCLA as a young researcher, RA. Ayat Atiyeh contributes to a growing movement that envisions a peaceful, weapon-free world. Her involvement reflects the core values of the Justice Beyond Borders group in advancing peace, international legal norms, and the protection of vulnerable populations through both research and advocacy.
