Laila Alkhatib is a PhD candidate in agriculture at the University of Jordan. Her Bachelor's degree was obtained in 2008 with a GPA of 3.55 out of 4. The master's degree was obtained  in 2012 with a GPA of 4 out of 4 . She worked at the University of Jordan for 10 years as a teaching assistant and another two years as a research assistant. She published two scientific papers and books. Her interest is in sustainable planting and how we can achieve  a better environment by using sustainable agricultural practices.
