Professor Salama is an esteemed academic leader, serving as the Chair of Accounting and Corporate Governance, Faculty Director of Accreditation at the Business School, and Head of the Accounting Subject Group. 

As Faculty Director of Accreditation, he oversees accreditation processes to ensure compliance with professional and statutory standards. He works closely with department heads and professional support teams to maintain and achieve relevant professional accreditations. He also leads the strategic academic leadership of the Accounting Subject and oversees the accreditation processes to ensure compliance with professional and statutory standards.
