About:

​Radhi Al-Hamadeen is currently serving as the President of the Audit Bureau of Jordan. He earned his B.Sc. in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Jordan in 1994, followed by an M.A. in Accounting from Al al-Bayt University in 2002, and a Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of St Andrews, UK, in 2007. Prior to his academic career, he worked at the Ministry of Finance, Department of Income Tax, as an Income Tax Assessor and Auditor, later advancing to the role of Financial Director and Assistant to the President at Al-Hussein Bin Talal University.

In April 2017, he was appointed Director of the International Relations Office at Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT). Radhi has participated in several Tempus and Erasmus+ projects as a contact person and representative for various higher education institutions in collaboration with universities across the EU.

He is a member of the British Accounting and Finance Association (BAFA, UK), the Centre for Social and Environmental Accounting Research (CSEAR, UK), and the European Accounting Association (EAA, Brussels). His research interests include corporate disclosure, corporate governance, assurance, corporate social responsibility (CSR), intangibles, and IFRS compliance.
