شارك الدكتور علي العتوم كمتحدث رئيسي في المؤتمر العالمي لجمعية الطب الفيزيائي وإعادة التأهيل (ISPRM 2025)، حيث تناول في كلمته موضوعًا ذا أهمية متزايدة على المستوى العالمي وهو: إصابات الحبل الشوكي في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا.

وقد أعرب الدكتور العتوم عن امتنانه للتقدير والدعم الذي تلقّاه من كبار الزملاء والخبراء من مختلف أنحاء العالم، معتبرًا هذه المناسبة محطة بارزة في مسيرته، إذ كان أول متحدث رئيسي من الأردن في تاريخ مؤتمرات ISPRM، وهو إنجاز يعتز به ويحمله بمسؤولية كبيرة.

كما وجّه شكره العميق إلى اللجنة المنظمة برئاسة البروفيسور سامية كركوري، وإلى جميع الزملاء في المغرب على حسن الاستقبال والتنظيم المتميز لهذا المؤتمر البارز.

وأثنى الدكتور العتوم على جهود جمعية ISPRM بقيادة البروفيسور جيرارد فرانسيسكو، رئيس الجمعية، في مواصلة تطوير مجال الطب الفيزيائي وإعادة التأهيل على مستوى العالم.

Dr. Ali Otom participated as a keynote speaker at the World Congress of the International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ISPRM 2025), where he addressed a topic of growing global importance: Spinal Cord Injury in the MENA Region.

Dr. Otom expressed his gratitude for the recognition and inspiring feedback he received from distinguished colleagues worldwide, considering this occasion a significant milestone in his career. He had the distinction of being the first keynote speaker from Jordan in the history of ISPRM—an achievement he holds with great pride and responsibility.

He extended his sincere appreciation to the Organizing Committee, led by Prof. Samia Karkouri, and to his colleagues in Morocco for their warm hospitality and excellent organization of this remarkable congress.

Dr. Otom also commended ISPRM, under the leadership of Prof. Gerard Francisco, President of ISPRM, for their continued efforts to advance the field of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine globally.
