About:

Dr. Aya Al-Jazi is a certified speech-language pathologist with expertise in speech, language, swallowing, and feeding disorders. She holds a BSc in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Jordan, an MSc in Speech and Cleft Science from the University of Sheffield, and a Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology from Northwestern University.

Aya is the founder of Seeds of Hope clinic, dedicated to providing equitable and high-quality speech-language therapy services. The clinic empowers individuals with communication challenges to actively engage in their communities and improve their quality of life.​In 2019, Aya joined Abdali Hospital as Director of the Speech & Swallow Unit. Before fully committing to Seeds of Hope in 2016, she worked clinically for 10 years and lectured at the University of Jordan for 4 years.

Aya has pioneered speech-language therapy services in schools, ensuring students with communication difficulties receive vital support. Her interests include inclusion, Down Syndrome, Apraxia of Speech, cleft speech disorders, and swallowing disorders.
