r Rawan Abu Zaghlan earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) with honours from the University of Jordan in 2010, before completing her specialist training in Endodontics at the University of Edinburgh and a Distinction-awarded MSc in Restorative Dentistry from the University of Warwick in 2016. She holds Membership in Endodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the MFDS from the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland.

She is appointed as an Assistant Professor and Consultant Endodontist at the University of Jordan and Jordan University Hospital, where she divides her time between teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students and providing endodontic care to her patients.

Dr Abu Zaghlan also serves as an examiner for the Membership in Endodontics (M.Endo) examination at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.​
