The
Jordan Design and Development Bureau (JODDB
)
, an independent military and civilian organization affiliated with the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF), is a key partner in our IDPS research group’s efforts. With its expertise in advanced defense technologies, including cybersecurity, AI, and disruptive future technologies, JODDB provides critical support in testing, evaluation, and technology incubation. This collaboration strengthens our research on Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPSs), ensuring practical applications in securing defense and civilian infrastructures against emerging cyber threats.

National Cyber Security Center (NCSC)
in Jordan, responsible for protecting the nation's digital infrastructure and enhancing cybersecurity resilience, is a major collaborator with our IDPS research group. Their expertise in cyber threat intelligence, risk assessment, and incident response significantly contributes to our research on IDPSs. This collaboration ensures that our research aligns with national cybersecurity priorities, addressing emerging threats and developing innovative solutions to enhance the security of digital systems in Jordan.

Eng. Loay Alhajaya,
who holds a Master's in Embedded Systems from Yarmouk University, following his Bachelor's degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology. He has accumulated extensive experience in the field, having previously worked in the Directorate of Cybersecurity and Information Technology at the Jordan Armed Forces. He later served as the Manager of Future Technology Projects for over a year, where he played a key role in advancing technological initiatives. His interests revolve around strengthening collaborations between the military and academic sectors, particularly in research execution and developing environments for validating and demonstrating research outcomes. Presently, Eng. Alhajaya manages Future Technology Projects at the Jordan Design and Development Bureau (JODDB).

represented by Dr. Muhammad Umair Khan , HoD of the Cybersecurity Department. Dr. Muhammad Umair Khan is an accomplished academic and researcher specializing in Secure Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Software Development. He holds a Ph.D. in Secure Software Engineering from Queen's University, Canada, and a Master's in Computational Logic from Dresden University of Technology, Germany. With over 13 years of experience in academia and industry, Dr. Umair has held key roles at institutions such as Alfaisal University, Centennial College, and Riphah International University. His expertise is teaching various undergraduate and graduate courses, including Cryptography, Network Security, Secure Software Engineering, and Ethical Hacking. Additionally, he has contributed extensively to secure software development processes, vulnerability analysis, and security monitoring techniques.
Dr. Umair's research includes numerous publications in prestigious journals and conferences, focusing on secure software engineering, random number generation, and security protocols. As a principal investigator, he has been awarded over $392,000 in research grants and has received several academic accolades, including the Ontario Graduate Scholarship and the R. Samuel McLaughlin Fellowship.
Beyond academia, Dr. Umair has served as a software security consultant and project analyst, contributing to innovative software systems and cybersecurity projects. His commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and industry collaboration establishes him as a secure software engineering and cybersecurity leader.

, represented by Dr. Heba Harahsheh. Dr Harahsheh earned her Ph.D. from the University of Jordan, specializing in Cybersecurity and Machine Learning. Her dissertation, "
An Intelligent Efficient Dynamic Malware Detection Technique
," was supervised by Prof. Mohammad Alshraideh. She is the Head of the Training and Development Directorate at the National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) in Jordan.
