Prof. Rizik M. H. Al-Sayyed is a distinguished academic with expertise in Computer Science, specializing in simulation, computer networks, cloud computing, algorithms, optimization, and databases. He earned his PhD from Leeds Beckett University, UK 2007, with a thesis focusing on performance requirements for reliability in wireless networks. Prof. Rizik has held various administrative and academic positions, including department head and assistant dean at King Abdullah II School for Information Technology, The University of Jordan, where he has served since 2009.
His research interests encompass optimization algorithms, machine learning, data mining, business intelligence, and cloud computing. He has an impressive record of publications in Scopus-indexed journals and conferences, contributing to fields such as wireless sensor networks, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.
