Professor Mohammad Alshraideh is an esteemed academic and practitioner in software engineering and artificial intelligence. He holds a PhD in computer science from the University of Hull, UK, where he specialized in software testing using Computational intelligence. Over a career spanning more than 30 years, he has gained extensive experience in software development, Hospital Information Systems (HIS), university ERP, and military systems, establishing a reputation for strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. He is a professor in the AI Department at the University of Jordan. He has previously held roles as dean of the graduate school, general registrar, and vice president for administrative and financial affairs.
Professor Alshraideh's research interests include automated software testing, artificial intelligence, data mining, optimization, robotics, and machine learning. Throughout his academic career, he has supervised numerous PhD and Master's theses and contributed significantly to scholarly discourse through publications in high-impact journals. He also actively participates in editorial and technical program committees for various international journals and conferences, reflecting his commitment to advancing the fields of AI and software engineering.
Beyond academia, Professor Alshraideh has a distinguished professional background. He has developed and managed multiple systems—particularly in Oracle-based environments—for the Jordan Army, the Ministry of Public Works, and Royal Medical Services. His leadership qualities and outstanding interpersonal and communication skills make him a highly influential figure in academic and professional arenas.
