Dr. Salam R. Al-E'mari is an Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity with expertise in abnormal transaction detection, blockchain technology, and intrusion detection systems. She holds a PhD in Cybersecurity from Universiti Sains Malaysia, where her research focused on leveraging Semi-Supervised Generative Adversarial Networks to detect abnormal transactions in the Ethereum network. Dr. Al-E'mari brings over 14 years of experience spanning academia and industry. Her notable roles include serving as Chair of the Information Security Department at the University of Petra, a lecturer at Northern Border University and Umm Al-Qura University, and an IT consultant specializing in ERP systems. She has designed and taught a wide range of cybersecurity and computer science courses, including Cybersecurity Fundamentals, Digital Forensics, Cloud Computing Security, and Artificial Intelligence.
An experienced researcher, Dr. Al-E'mari has published extensively in high-impact journals and conferences. Her work includes blockchain-based intrusion detection, generating adversarial networks, and applying cybersecurity to IoT and cloud environments. Moreover, she has contributed significantly to voluntary initiatives, such as organizing cybersecurity awareness campaigns and as a reviewer for leading academic journals.
Dr. Al-E'mari's achievements include earning a Graduate on Time certificate for her Ph.D., contributing to curriculum development, and publishing impactful research in top-tier journals. Her diverse expertise, passion for cybersecurity education, and dedication to advancing research make her a distinguished figure.
