In this public lecture, Prof. Yousef Abu Amrieh discussed how contemporary Arab writers in diaspora represent translators in their novels. Drawing on the works of eight novels, the lecture highlighted how a fictional translator's identity is depicted as a site contestation.  The lecture was held at Amman Hall/Main Library/The University of Jordan on April 30th, 2024 at 13:30.
