The Department of Geology at the Faculty of Science – The University of Jordan, in collaboration with the Royal Cultural Center and Al-Qibah Al-Samawiyah Company for Development and Innovation, and with the support of the Ministry of Culture, organized a distinguished scientific workshop entitled:

Space Technology and Artificial Intelligence:

'Innovative Solutions to Address Climate Change and Enhance Food Security'

The workshop was delivered by Engineer Helena Saleh Al-Najjar, a specialist in space technology, remote sensing, and artificial intelligence. It addressed the latest innovations in artificial intelligence and its applications in supporting food security and mitigating the impacts of climate change. The workshop also highlighted the role of scientific research and modern technologies in advancing sustainable development pathways. This initiative comes as part of the department’s efforts to keep pace with contemporary scientific advancements and to encourage students to engage in fields of leadership and innovation in Earth sciences and technology.
