• Development of plant diversity through the time with interest on the Permian to the late Cretaceous.

• Classification and interpretation of the floral remains to reconstruct the paleoenvironment and organic components.

• The fossil charcoal on Permian as indicator of Paleo-wildfires and its reflection on the atmospheric gas component in that time.

• Description and interpretation of some lithological boundaries on Jordanian Stratigraphic column which serve the ground water, mining, and oil& gas sectors in Jordan.

Geographically my work is currently focused Jordan, middle east, Central Europe, and parts of Gondwana (i.e. Brazil, India, S-Africa). These interests were shared for many years with colleagues from Jordan, Iraq, Egypt, Germany, Holland, and England. ​​
