Dr. Refat and Dr. Lina in colaboration with Universty of Nottingham/ UK have puplished a new research article entitled "LC-MS/MS-based proteomics and metabolomics of HCT-116 colorectal cancer cells: A potential anticancer activity of atorvastatin" in
- January 2025.
Dr. Anas successfully organized the Clinical Applications of Mass Spectrometry 2024 workshop, held from December 15–19, 2024, in Riyadh, bringing together esteemed experts and scholars from various fields.

The workshop, held at [ at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (KFSHRC)], aimed to facilitate knowledge sharing, collaboration, and innovation among researchers and academics.
Dr. Lina has recieved a funding support from the Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation Augest 2024. The grant will be used to support her new research project entitled "Unraveling the Pathophysiology of Alzheimer Disease and Empowering its Diagnosis: Integrative Omics Exploration of miRNA, Proteins and Metabolites Biomarkers".

Research Assistant Maha Rashed received hands-on training on the essential steps involved in mass spectrometry (MS) raw data processing and metabolites identification at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (KFSHRC), December 15–19, 2024 Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This practical experience provided her with advanced skills to handle MS data, enhancing her expertise in metabolomics and its clinical applications. Maha's training marks a significant achievement, reflecting the research group's commitment to fostering professional development and advancing expertise in cutting-edge analytical techniques.
Dr. Refat have successfully passed the American Society of Clinical Pathology Exam and earned the Specialist in Clinical Chemistry, SC (ASCPi) title (American Society of Clinical Pathology-Board of Certificates ASCP BOC, الزمالة الأمريكية لعلم الأمراض السريرية)

Dr. Lina Dahabiyeh, has been selected among the 15 most promising young researchers worldwide by the International Rising Talents programme of the L'Oréal-UNESCO for Women in Science of the year 2022
