Dr. Refat participated in the First Scientific Day organized by the Association of Laboratories and Medical Analysis, which was held in celebration of World Medical Laboratory Professionals Week under the patronage of Dr. Weam Khreisat, Director of the Central Laboratories Directorate at the Ministry of Health.

During the event, Dr. Refat delivered a talk titled:

The presentation highlighted the transformative role of point-of-care testing in accelerating diagnosis, improving patient care, and reshaping clinical workflows—particularly in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. The talk contributed to a rich scientific program that brought together professionals, academics, and students from across Jordan to discuss the latest advancements in medical laboratory sciences.​
