Eman Elayeh, PhD Candidate in pharmaceutical sciences at School of Pharmacy, UJ

​Eman Elayeh holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Pharmacy (2010, University of Jordan) and is currently pursuing a PhD in pharmaceutical sciences at the same institution. Her thesis, titled "Integrated Proteomics and Metabolomics to Identify Potential Biomarkers for Predicting Micro-metastasis and Therapeutic Response to Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors (ICI) in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) Patients," focuses on cutting-edge research in cancer treatment.​

​With 35 research articles published to her name, her research interests span various fields, including pharmacy practice, clinical pharmacy and therapeutics, patient counseling and education, and evidence-based pharmacy practice. 
Eman is currently researching the discovery of biomarkers and applying advanced analytical methods, including metabolomics and proteomics, to better understand the pathogenesis of diseases, with a particular focus on cancer. Her goal is to uncover new diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers that can help predict drug response to cancer treatment and early detection of cancer metastasis.
