Dr. Anas Abdel Rahman has a Ph.D. in Bioanalytical Chemistry (metabolomics and Proteomics) from the Memorial University of Newfoundland (NL, Canada). Since 2011, he has worked on Clinical metabolomics in applications such as cancer and diabetes (Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, Canada). In 2014, Anas joined the Newborn Screening and Biochemical Genetics laboratory in the Department of Genetics at King Faisal University Hospital and Research Center (KFSHRC) to establish his research group in clinical metabolomics (Next-generation of metabolic screening). Our clinical metabolomics research group has actively studied rare genetic diseases using different 'omics' techniques, including metabolomics. With more than 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts, Dr. Abdel Rahman's group has contributed to personalized medicine and pharmacometabolomics by integrating multiple omics datasets and generating AI models for disease prediction and diagnosis.
