Resources

Our global resource for advancing balance research is the Vestibular Clinic within the School of Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Jordan. The clinic is equipped with diagnostic technologies, such as the Video Head Impulse Test (vHIT), Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potential (VEMP), Videonystagmography (VNG), and Electrocochleography (ECoG), enabling comprehensive assessments for individuals with vestibular dysfunction.

The research group members from the University of Jordan collaborate closely with Dr. Sawsan Abuzaid, the head of the Dizziness Clinic at the Jordan Royal Medical Services, Professor Susan Whitney at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) in the US, and Professor Steve Bell at the University of Southampton in the UK, enriching its research and clinical expertise. These partnerships foster knowledge exchange and innovation, further enhancing the quality of care and research.

In addition to these clinical resources, our research efforts are supported by substantial research funding from national and international grants. This funding allows us to continuously invest in advanced technologies, expand our research scope, and conduct high-impact studies on balance and vestibular disorders for both adult and pediatric populations.
