Dr. Faten Obeidat has been officially appointed as the External Examiner for a PhD thesis at the University of Southampton. This appointment has been approved in accordance with the University’s Regulations for Research Degrees and the Code of Practice for Research Degree Candidature and Supervision.

The candidate, Ms. Busra Kocak Erdem, is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree with a thesis titled:

"Exploring the Effects of Mechanical Stimulation, Frequency, and Stimulus Parameters on VEMP Responses for the Assessment of Otolith Organs."

The examination panel also includes:

• Internal Examiner: Dr. Ben Lineton

• Independent Chair: Prof. Thomas Blumensath

• Main/Co-ordinating Supervisor: Prof. Steven Bell
