​In our laboratory, we have successfully developed a novel peptide antidote that targets the venom of E.coloratus (أفعى فلسطين) which is the major cause of sanke bite envenomation in Jordan. This designed antidote was able to inhibit the blood hemolysis caused by the venom completely at a subnanomolar level. We are currently working on developing it further to be market ready in the future.
