​Shaden Mustafa graduated with a major in Korean Language from the University of Jordan. She received a POSCO scholarship and was admitted to the Graduate School of Korean Studies at the Academy of Korean Studies. There, she conducted research on immigration issues and wrote a thesis titled "The Role of Media in Koreans' Attitudes Toward Refugees: Focusing on Perceptions of Economic and Cultural Threat." She is currently working as an administrative officer at the Southern Jordan Development and also serves as an interpreter at major events related to Jordan and Korea.​
