Образ времени и пространства в сказках Людмилы Петрушевской (2021)

The article considers the image of space and time in the postmodern fairy tales of Lyudmila Petrushevskaya The Tale of the Clock (сollection Real Tales) and The Tale of White Teapots (сollection A Suitcase of Nonsense). The conducted analysis leads to a conclusion that the fabulous place and time complement each other, they are interconnected and penetrate one another. At the same time, in the chronotope The Tale of the Clock by L. Petrushevskaya, space is specifically repressed and replaced by time since it acquires the character of an existential essence. In the fairy tale White Teapots, time and space are identical as in the conventional space of a theatrical stage (theatrical performance) and in the real perception of the performance by the audience, the Director, actors and the Sorceress. However, the assimilation of reality to theatrical fiction destroys the artistic convention of a fairy tale. Therefore, the identity of time and space in the perception of the reader of the tale is destroyed.
