​This paper discusses teaching Korean premodern literature in the Arabic Language. Arabic culture and religion is totally different from the Confucian culture that is traditional in Korea. For this reason, students face difficulties when trying to understand topics related to traditional Korean culture, even when they are intermediate or advanced level learners. Of course, they can get some information about this issue, but more specific circumstances are required for them to properly understand the whole situation, including the traditional expressions that are used and the way of feeling. These three things can be realized by studying Chunyerock, a kind of traditional Korean literature. After teaching, ideas about tradition and culture were exchanged.​
