Dr. Mohamed Abedal-Majed
is an Associate Professor at the Department of Animal Production at the University of Jordan, a position he has held since 2018. He earned his Ph.D. in Animal Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, USA. Dr. Abedal-Majed’s research focuses on the interplay between vascular development and follicle progression and ovulation in animals. His work explores the effects of nutrition, feed additives, hormones, and environmental factors on productive and reproductive functions. Additionally, he investigates the roles of steroidogenic enzymes in theca, granulosa, and corpus luteum cells, aiming to enhance our ability to manipulate ovarian folliculogenesis and improve reproductive outcomes.
