Dr. Anas Abdelqader is a Professor and the Head of the Department of Animal Production at the University of Jordan, a position he has held since 2010. He earned his Ph.D. in Animal Science from the University of Göttingen, Germany. Dr. Abdelqader is dedicated to exploring sustainable methods to enhance the health and well-being of farm animals, aiming to improve food quality and human health. Central to his research is the principle that a healthy animal gut equates to healthy humans. His primary research interests focus on understanding the factors influencing animal performance and gut health, contributing to advancements in sustainable agriculture and food systems.​
