We are proud to announce that Dr. Mohmmad Al-Qaisi, Associate Professor at the Department of Animal Production, University of Jordan, has been selected to present his latest research at the 2025 Annual Meeting of the American Dairy Science Association (ADSA), which will be held in June in Orlando, Florida.
Dr. Al-Qaisi’s presentation is titled:
“Effects of Supplementing Dietary Animax+ on Milk Production and Aflatoxin M1 Levels in Heat-Stressed Dairy Cows.”
This study explores a critical issue in dairy production—how to mitigate the dual challenge of heat stress and mycotoxin contamination in high-producing dairy cows. The research highlights the potential of Animax+, a novel feed additive, to improve milk yield and reduce aflatoxin M1 transfer to milk under hot environmental conditions.
Key points of the study include:
Improved milk yield and feed efficiency in cows supplemented with Animax+ during periods of elevated heat stress.
Significant reduction in aflatoxin M1 levels in milk, offering promising implications for food safety and public health.
The potential of Animax+ as a nutritional strategy to enhance dairy cow resilience under climate stressors.
Dr. Al-Qaisi’s participation at ADSA reflects the University of Jordan’s continued commitment to advancing science in animal production and environmental stress mitigation.
We congratulate Dr. Al-Qaisi on this achievement and look forward to the international recognition his work will bring.
