he idea of reconsidering the history of Arabic poetry is the central focus of the researchers in this group.

Dr. Yousef Hamdan has published six books in which he traces specific ideas and their evolution among Arab poets throughout the ages. In these works, he illuminates the development of poetic traditions at the level of thematic content. These publications were issued by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre.
