About:

​Professor Mohammad Al‑Shannag is a full Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Jordan and serves as the Director General of the Jordan Uranium Mining Company. He has expertise in adsorption processes, wastewater treatment, and advanced materials for environmental and energy applications. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and has applied his research to areas such as uranium recovery, solar-powered water treatment, and grey-water filtration systems. Professor Al‑Shannag has authored numerous publications, with an h-index of 36–37 and over 4,300 citations, reflecting his significant impact in chemical and environmental engineering. He has led multiple funded research projects, advancing both fundamental and applied studies, and has been recognized for his contributions to sustainable engineering solutions. Given his extensive experience and research leadership, he is well-suited for roles such as Head of Department, Director of Research Centers, Principal Investigator on large-scale projects, or Senior Consultant/Advisor in water treatment, environmental remediation, and energy recovery sectors.​
