With reference to the approval of His Royal Highness Prince El Hass​​an bin Talal, Chairman of the Higher Council for Science and Technology, to form specialized technical committees related to national priorities.

The Higher Council's advisory team recommended the formation of a sectoral committee specializing in artificial intelligence, its applications, and its importance, which encompasses information, ethics, governance, and its significant role in serving society.

Based on the approval of His Excellency Professor Dr. Adnan Badran, Deputy Chairman of the Higher Council for Science and Technology, of the Advisory Council's recommendation, His Excellency Professor Dr. Mashhour Al-Rifai, Secretary-General of the Higher Council for Science and Technology, formed the following:
