Oral Talk:

Good morning dear colleagues and young researchers.

It is my pleasure to share with you a brief overview of the IEEE Jordan Student Paper Contest for this year.

The 2025 edition of the contest (The 1st of its kind) saw an impressive level of participation. We received 76 research papers from students representing 22 universities across Jordan. This reflects the growing interest and enthusiasm for research and innovation among our students.

After a careful review and evaluation process, only 15 papers were selected to move on to the final stage. These finalists were invited to present their work at the final event, which we proudly host today at the Jordan University of Science and Technology.

This contest is organized by the IEEE Jordan Section, one of the most dynamic sections in Region 8. The section is dedicated to promoting engineering and technology through a wide range of professional and student-focused activities, including conferences, competitions, and training programs.

We are very proud of the talent, creativity, and hard work shown by all the participants, and we thank our volunteers, reviewers, and partner institutions for making this contest a success.

We wish you a successful and enjoyable day.
