​Prof. Mirjalili was invited to the FEECS Journal Club at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, VSB‑Technical University of Ostrava, where he delivered an engaging talk titled “Agile Workflows and Generative AI in a New Era of Autonomous Optimization.” He emphasized simplifying problem spaces, showcased innovative uses of generative AI and AI agents, and led a thoughtful discussion on the ethical foundations of autonomous optimization systems. The session was well-received, with the next Journal Club scheduled for June 23 to mark its 20th anniversary.
