To ensure our research delivers tangible public benefit, the group maintains a strategic partnership with the Jordanian Ministry of Industry. This collaboration is vital for aligning our scientific exploration with national industrial priorities and food security strategies. We work closely with the Ministry to facilitate the transfer of our research findings and novel technologies to local bakeries and milling industries, enhancing their competitiveness and product quality. This synergy ensures that our innovations in sustainable processing, waste reduction, and health-focused product development directly support the modernization and growth of Jordan's vital cereal sector, creating a direct pathway from the laboratory to the public marketplace.

We are Pleased to build our Strategic research partnership with one of the leading companies for Cereal products industry in Jordan.

The Modern Flour Mills and Macaroni Factories Co. Ltd. (MFM), based in Amman, Jordan, has been in operation since 1949 and processes various wheat products. It runs a wheat flour mill, pasta production plant, snack foods plant, and a bakery ingredients unit. Its main brands include “Al-Ghazal” for flour, semolina and pasta, “Suprema and Barakeh” for pasta, “MFM” for specialty flour, bakery ingredients and cake mixes, and “Samar” for snack foods. The company offers co-packing and private labeling services across its product lines.​​

Diverse Flour Products: MFM offer an extensive selection of flour varieties, including all-purpose white flour, whole wheat flour, and whole grain flour, catering to diverse nutritional needs. 

​Food Product Manufacturing and Supply: MFM focus on producing a diverse array of food products, including different types of flour, both fine and coarse semolina, bread eimprovers, convenient bread and cake mixes, snacks, and a wide selection of pasta. 

Product Customization: MFM provide tailored product customization services, including recipe modifications and bespoke solutions to meet their unique requirements.

Research and Development: A dedicated R&D team drives innovation by developing new products that reflect the latest trends and evolving demands of the food industry.​​

This international collaboration provides a vital conduit for knowledge exchange, allowing us to integrate cutting-edge food science and advanced technological methodologies into our local context. Through joint research projects, shared expertise in areas like alternative fermentation and AI-driven optimization, and researcher exchanges, we gain access to world-class facilities and perspectives. This synergy not only enhances the caliber and global relevance of our work but also positions Jordan as an emerging hub for advanced baking science and technology, driving international cooperation and elevating the entire regional industry.
