School Students Co-Author Research Published in Nature with Dr. Azzam’s Supervision

In an unprecedented scientific achievement, a research paper was published in Nature magazine on April 9, 2025, in which a group of Jordanian school students participated in an innovative research project on the light transitions of carbon dioxide (CO₂). The research focused on determining the rovibrational energy levels using experimental data, with notable contributions from students of the Islamic Scientific College, Bunat AlGhad Academy, First University Schools, Mada International Academy, Al-Hassad Al-Tarbawi Schools, The Jubilee School, Pioneer Educational Schools, and the Grand International Academy – Irbid.

Dr. Ala'a Azzam, the lead researcher on the project, was responsible for integrating school students into this groundbreaking scientific research.
