Thirty-five postgraduate student research projects at UJ were selected for funding by the Scientific Research Support Fund (SRSF) at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
In total, Forty-three projects from various universities in Jordan applied for the SRSF’s support.
Eight of the selected projects are at the doctoral level and 27 at the Master’s level.
SRSF will grant the selected projects a total of JOD 40 000, on condition that UJ provide the same financial support for the researcher.
The submitted projects, mostly are in basic sciences, were evaluated prior to being selected for funding, said Prof. Abeer Al Bawab, Dean of Academic Research.
SRSF is affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It supports research projects in basic science, energy, water, environment, technology, as well as humanities and social sciences.
